Sabrina Smith
Leader, Facilitator, Coach, and Keynote Speaker
Sabrina Smith is the Founder & CEO of PROGENY1, LLC, a Leadership Development, Training, and Coaching company. She brings over 23 years of leadership and training experience into learning environments. She has real-world knowledge, skills, and aptitude to evaluate the needs of others and helps them grow through tailored leadership development activities.
As a facilitator and trainer, Sabrina fortified her knowledge of adult learning processes throughout her career in the classroom. This positioned her to foster a learning environment that is psychologically safe and engaging for participants. Sabrina has delivered training courses for organizations including pharmaceutical industries, public schools, professional associations, social media companies, marketing agencies, not-for-profit institutions, construction companies, apparel and sports companies, food manufacturers, and more! She’s trained courses spanning from communication, conflict management, emotional intelligence, customer services, sales, coaching (1on 1 and group coaching), change-management, presentations skills, team development, and more. The feedback from clients and participants concerning their learning experiences and ability to apply skills on the job averages a rating of 4.7 out of 5.0. While Sabrina appreciates the number, the written feedback and post session discussions are more important to her as it helps her to gain valuable insight to enhance the learner’s experience and organization’s results.
Sabrina’s facilitative style is genuine, and she delivers with passion and conviction. Sabrina also believes in people and feels called to walk alongside others to help them achieve their goals. Her mantra is “Transform minds, Transform performance.” Sabrina holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and a Master’s Coaching Certificate from Lewis University. She is also Wiley certified to facilitate D.I.S.C. and 5 Behaviors and is committed to continuous growth and development.
Sabrina also partners with public schools in Illinois as a “Guest Teacher,” allowing her to support educators in training up our future generation.
Sabrina spends her leisure time with family and friends and is a “quasi” homesteader. She’s learning how to can various foods like jelly and meats and now bakes homemade bread. She supports local farmers that use sustainable agricultural practices and seeks other ways to expand her food preservation knowledge.
